Absolute Viticulture is a Tasmanian based viticulture service aimed at providing professional, practical, scientific advice to assist wine businesses in becoming economically and environmentally sustainable.

Led by Marty, a qualified viticulturist with 18 years experience across Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia, Absolute Viticulture believes strongly that no two vineyards are the same and they all deserve an approach as unique as the site itself.

Our Process

Absolute Viticulture is focused on delivering practical, real advice. As a vineyard manager and vineyard owner himself, Marty knows that sometimes you have to work outside the box and that every decision should be made with the best interest of each individual vineyard and business at the forefront. Absolute Viticulture works closely with it’s clients to understand their site, their business and their direction to ensure we are working as a team. From one off consultancy sessions to complete project management of new vineyard sites Absolute Viticulture will work alongside you to deliver your vision.

History

Absolute Viticulture was established in 2013 and came from a desire to create a service from the ground up that could support Tasmanian wine businesses in a way that was driven by the people who worked in it. The idea was simple, provide direct, honest and practical viticultural advice utilising the latest in research and technology.

Since our beginning we have worked with wine businesses all over Tasmania, established Tasmania’s largest contract machine harvesting service and through our vineyard development projects increased the planted vineyard area in Tasmania by 20%.
